Definitely a niche category, but as I just got my 5x, I thought I'd try it out. This setup works. That's my original BobjGear usb ethernet adapter. It's worked with everything I've tried.
I didn't grab the speed test screen shot until after I disconnected the ethernet, but it's legit.
