I stupidly did a factory reset on my phone before backing up data that I had. I have tried researching online and using any data recovery software suggested to recover old data for my phone but none of it seems to work. There is one option which apparently worked for others with the 5.0.2 version of the android software but I'm not sure if I would lose more of my data by downgrading back so I can do the data recovery process.
Most of my issue seems to be that I have no mass storage option for my USB connection. Just the MTP and PTP, KIES based options available on the phone. This seems to be an issue for any recovery software to access data that has not been overwritten yet.
