The Note 7 doesn't have an IR blaster... but it does have an IR LED that is used for the Retina Unlocking feature. I wonder if someone will be able to write an app that uses that as an IR blaster. Since it is front facing, it might be a challenge to use the screen and aim the blaster towards a device, but its better than nothing.
