So, I was looking around to install a custom ROM for a Galaxy Grand 2 (SM-G7102), but after searching around I see there are some different variants of ROM, kernel and recoveries. Specifically, some I found are tagged (G7102) and some are tagged (ms013g). I know that G7102/G7105 are phone variants, but what is ms013g? I don't think it's firmware or baseband, judging from my own baseband or firmware, so I wonder what it is.
Further more, is it safe more me to use different ROMs/kernels/recoveries even though its tagged differently from my phone?
