Restore stock rom from Android 6 for Zenfone 2 laser ZE551KL

Hi guys, I've recently flashed custom Android 6 rom on my ZE551KL, now i'm not able to flash back stock rom because when I tried adb sideload it gave me an "cannot read update.zip" error. I've then tried sideload another Android 6 rom and it just worked without any issue. Any thoughts on how to get back to stock? Thanks guys
