Hey, first post here. I've gotten myself into quite the situation. I've had a Verizon LG G3 for around a year and a half now, and the plan isn't up until October. Recently, my phone decided to just kind of turn off and not turn back on. No error, no warnings, nothing. I tried changing the battery, and still nothing. Tried charging, booting to safe mode, pressing the down volume key and power off button key, changing batteries again, removing SIM card, plugging it into the computer.. and no signs of life. No lights, no vibrations or noises, nothing. I have searched high and low for a DIY fix, of some sort, but I can't seem to find one. My issue with giving it back to the store, and or a repair tech, is that it has VERY personal images / texts on it, that will all still be there if someone at the store can figure out how to turn it on. Granted they are probably not supposed to snoop, I'm sure they do. Kinda paranoid about that. I have the option to give the phone back to Verizon to pay off the plan, and get a new phone there, but unless I wait until October I HAVE to give the phone back. So, before I either go the entire summer without a phone, or I cave in and hope that no one looks at anything, is there any way to erase the memory on it externally ? Or something of that nature. Computer doesn't recognize it otherwise I would do it that way. Is there any hope for this ?
