I just spent the better part of the last couple hours piecing together how to do this from others posts, so I figured I'd just put it out there for those who don't know.
Requirements: PC with USB 2.0 port, Mini USB cable.
1. Plug your phone into the USB 2.0 slot. It's essential that it's 2.0, otherwise this won't work. You should get a prompt to install Verizon Upgrade Assistant, select yes and install. If you don't get a prompt go to Motorola's website to download it manually (PM me if you need help with this, I can't post the link because I'm new)
2. Once the install is finished, the upgrade assistant will launch. It'll detect your phone ONLY IF it's plugged in via USB 2.0, otherwise nothing will happen. It'll check for an update and say that one's available, select your device and click update.
That's it. The download is 1.1 gigabytes so it may take some time, but you'll have Marshmallow once it's complete! Enjoy
