I have Nova working on my PC. Here's what I did :
1 Installed Nova Launcher from Play
2 Used SDMaid App Control to freeze Launcher then My Desktop
3. When prompted, chose Nova Launcher

Performance seems close to expected. I found if you mess with the top-of-screen nav buttons it messes up the display, but a simple soft reboot fixes it. I used SimpleReboot from the Play Store.
