I got this cheap tablet (enet E-714JK), I bricked it and want to make it work again and even better than before because it's really a cool tablet and I love it, the problem is : the *.img or the firmware or the rom ( I really don't know the difference between them, it would be helpful to know)
I've the original rom (I'll call it rom-00.fw) but it has these issues
1- as you've read, it's in the *.fw format which I don't know how to flash (I only know how to flash the *.img format)
2- also the volume buttons don't work in recovery mode, and there is this error (E : fopen error /data/miraGSensor0ffset.txt)
3- it displays wrong capacity for internal sd storage (it shows 5.76gb instead of actually 1.11gb)
4- the resolution is low (800*480 everything is a bit larger than normal), and shows only half of the folder lables on homescreen
5- the built in backgrounds are horrible :)
so I got other roms A, B & C
A- I got this rom (I'll call it rom-01.img) that has the same issues, also it has this error in the camera (camera crashes when switching to panorama mode, also the camera UI style and controls are different from the original, and it enables choosing a quality for the shoots)
** the good thing about this rom-01.img is that it displayes the correct storage capacity **
B- I also got this rom (I'll call it rom-02.img) that doesn't have all of the issues but has other issues (the wifi & bluetooth don't work, it has support for cellular connectivity - apparently it's a rom for a phone or a phone tablet of some sort - mine doesn't have cellular connectivity)
** the good thing about this rom-02.img is that it has a **higher resolution** 1024*600 and everything looks fine and cool, but hte touch screen is filipped a 180 degrees - you know.. what is left became right (plus) what is up became down **
** and the recovery mode works with touch (the touch is still flipped, and the volume buttons still don't work though) and gives no errors at all **
** also it has cool built in wallpapers :) **
C- I also got this rom (I'll call it rom-03) that is the exact copy of the original rom but has different personlizations, like boot logos, and different home-screen wallpaper, and of course the information about the tablet is different ..etc, but same functionality nonetheless
my question is, using these 4 firmwares, is there a way to have a "rom-xx.img" that will :
1- work fine (specially WiFi, Bluetooth & camera)
2- have the correct boot logo and home-screen wallpaper and other personlizations
3- show the correct storage capacity for internal storage and internal SD - NOTE 1
4- have the recovery mode works either with touch (but corrected and not flipped ofcource) or with the volume buttons
5- have a resolution so that everything looks fine, or higher resolution 1024*600 with touch working fine
6- have cool built in wallpapers :)
optional : 7- have a set of desired apps of course
- NOTE 1 - (optional : is there a way to manipulate the size of each, like taking some storage from internal SD and add it to internal storage)
