Google Announces the New Android Excellence Program To Feature The Best Apps And Games

There are close to three million applications in the Google Play Store, giving all kinds of services and experiences. Unfortunately, not all of them are as good as we would like them to be. To showcase some of the best Android has to offer, Google announced the new Android Excellence program which revamps the current Editors' Choice initiative.

This section will include applications and games that are particularly good, and by good Google means apps and games that deliver incredible user experiences on Android, use many of our best practices, and have great design, technical performance, localization, and device optimization. The list will be updated every quarter.

Currently, the list of excellent projects contains 16 apps and 16 games. Check them out.
