Hello. By all my misery, i found a way how to permaroot my Caterpillar S30 and S40 , bouth running Android Lollipop 5.1. Go to app store and download Chainfire SuperSu and instal it. It seems pointles as you dont have root, but it works. Afterwards download KingRoot app for android (google it, didnt find it on play store). Put KingRoot on sdcard, instal it. In the time of instalation android security system will warn you, about KingRoot being unsafe. Click on notification and scroll down, there will be option continue anyway. This notification will pop up about 8 times.
KingRoot app will tell you, that Caterpillar S30 and S40 arent compatible, but will give you option to try. In time of rooting, again, you will be prompted by android that King root is unsafe and invades its security. Again, continue anyway. After rooting process KingRoot notified me that rooting was unsecsesfull, but my phones are now rooted.
