Tracing Blacklist Source

Hi all,

I've been using by Xperia Z3 Compact for about a year now and last week, I've been unable to connect to a network service provider and my signal is showing 0 bars. I can search for networks and can see them all but I cannot connect to them. At first I thought it was a hardware fault but after sending the handset off to Sony, they maintain that there is nothing wrong with the handset. I replaced the SIM card but that didn't work.

Both my network provider (Meteor) and my previous provider (Vodafone) told me that the phone is not blocked on their system. I bought the phone in a Vodafone store last year but I still contacted police to see if someone had accidentally reported it stolen but no one has. The imeipro.info site says the phone is blacklisted though and I've no way of finding out how that happened. Has this happened to anyone before?

Phone: Sony Xperia Z3 Compact
OS: Android 5.1.1
Build: 23.4.A.1.264
