Is it possible Temp root to substitute a system font of Sony Z5 locked bootloader?

I want to replace or substitute an android system font ( eg. DroidsanFabllback.ttf ) with a modified system font( same font name). Is it possible to use temp root to do it on Sony Xperia Z5 locked boot loader phone ( non rooted ) ?
